Over the course of more than a decade, I have photographically documented hundreds of concerts of my life and business partner, Maria Baptist.

She is one of the great jazz pianists of our time. In and between every note, Maria opens up to the listener a world all her own:

A sea of aliveness, soul, magnitude and grace carries one away from oneself, only to lead one all the way back to oneself.

What she plays, she lives.
